Just arrived for the range of Mobylette and Raleigh Mopeds a range of speedometer cables to fit into the huret speedometers:-

500 cm long - fits Mobylette Mopeds with smaller 16 inch wheels such as some of the cady range

600 cm long - to fit most Mobylette and Raleigh Mopeds

700 cm long - to fit the Mobylette AV89 na Raleigh RM5 where the huret speedometer was fitted on the handlebars.

Malcolmraleigh on ebay changes name to Classic Moped Spares to keep corporate identity

Classic Moped Spares trades on ebay and own website

Historically Classic Moped Spares traded under the name malcolmraleigh on ebay. As at the 11th December 2013, the user name 'malcolmraleigh' has been removed from ebay. 

To avoid confusion and in keeping with the Company Strategy it was decided that the name Classic Moped Spares should be used and the name malcolmraleigh no longer be used. 

Many of you will have bought products from the malcolmraleigh brand and the aim is to continue under Classic Moped Spares, but still maintain the high levels of delivery, customer service and product quality. 

Classic Moped Spares is now an established brand worldwide and as such is somewhere you can buy from with confidence through ebay or www.classicmopedspares.com.  The website operates with up to date policies, terms and conditions and a secure payment gateway.

Just back from France earlier in the week and now up near Manchester to pick up even more products. Hopefully I will have time to start advertising products on the website in the New Year

4 hour journey up and 7 hours back, what a day. Never mind sure it was worth it.

Note no mopeds on the motorway, traffic speed on the way back I could have done with one!!!

Classic Moped Spares trip across the Channel Poole to Cherbourg

A successful trip was had at the beginning of December 2013, by a quick hop across the channel from Poole to Cherbourg, France and Europe. I was a bit late arriving back on the 3rd December due to a long chat with customs regarding the goodies being brought back into England. Perhaps they are also moped fans? A most successful and enjoyable journey was had by all, however I was a bit tired after the many hours of driving. 

The Ferry gave me time to recharge my batteries and reflect on how much fantastic hospitality I received from the French people that I met. Fantastique Voyage!

The vehicle was close to being full and some who know me would say probably with a large collection of complete bikes and parts probably, mobylette mopeds; there was however a distinctive aroma of cheese and wine oozing from the windows!

Apologies for my photography, I should have got more pictures of the scenery but then time was of the essence!
